Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian actress. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her father was an actor as well as her mother was a violinist. The Mangalia Gala, which is a celebration of Young Actors, she was awarded the Best Female Actor Award 2000. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic, won the British Academy Television Award in the category of Best Actress. She also won numerous prizes for her performance in 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. In 2007, she was a part of in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si 2 zile (4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 days) by Cristian Mungiu. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI award). Also, she appeared as a child in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in BBC series The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Then, she played major roles in 2014's Fury where she was Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
